Scarlett Johansson, new face of Moët & Chandon, stepped out Tuesday at the “Tribute to Cinema” in Tokyo. We’re positively besotted with ScarJo’s wavy, coiled bun, glossy lips, and dramatic cat-eyes, and will surely be imitating this look in our bathroom mirror this weekend.
Keep it up, Scarlett!
Salon Insiders: Neil George off to C.O. Bigelow
My partner Amanda and I are traveling to Chicago for 2 days of personal appearances at C.O. Bigelow in Chicago, then 1 day in Columbus, Ohio. It is exciting for Neil George to be partnering with Bigelow, which is such a great retailer and launching in 2 cities where we are not currently sold. We’re looking forward to getting out of LA and touching people in the midwest! It’s my 1st time ever traveling to Chicago–being from LA, I hope it is not too cold! We’re looking forward to meeting some of our fans, the clients of C.O. Bigelow, and having some good food.
Our other big news is the recent feature of our Refresh Dry Shampoo in the latest issue of Marie Claire. (more…)

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, this newly expanded 2,400 square foot space will provide an intimate luxury retreat. After undergoing renovations and an expansion, the Melrose Place Salon will now operate on both floors of its current location with the addition of a ground floor retail environment. The renovation includes an expansion of the salon service area, shampoo stations and private pedicure rooms, bringing the total number of service chairs to sixteen.
Residing within a Spanish-mission style building, the salon will offer clients a sunny, relaxing oasis to experience the exquisite cuts and luxurious, high-end services that Fekkai is famous for, including hair styling and coloring, manicure, pedicure, bridal services, brow grooming and make-up application. MAC Margin blush is that perfect shade of blush for warmer skin tones that isn’t too bright or subtle–it’s just right. Even the color itself is difficult to put into words, but I’ll try: a dirty coral-berry. Yes, coral-berry!
Margin is dark enough to show up on even deeper skin tones, but it is still suitable for paler complexions, too. It’s just this magical blush that seems to work well on everyone I recommend it to. It wakes up your face with just a quick swipe on the apples of the cheek, and never looks ruddy or splotchy. It’s my go-to blush when I want something quick and easy which will never let me down.
