Scientists discover a ‘curly hair gene’

So, looks like we’re one step closer to designer babies. According to the Telegraph, Australian scientists have identified a gene called trichohyalin, which causes curly hair. Depending on variations in the gene, you’ll either have curly locks or straight, and the chances of inheriting curls are 90%. What’s especially interesting is that the scientists are already partnering with a French beauty company to develop a straightening product. Heh. Doesn’t that sound kind of…freaky?
Until we learn more, we say rock the Living Proof for gorgeous, frizz-free curls, embrace what God gave you, and call it a day!
