Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, $40: I love to carry Touche Eclat in my bag because the built-in brush makes it so easy to apply on the go. It features light-diffusers that add radiance, immediately brightening undereye dark circles and hiding any redness around the nose. (Just make sure to get the right shade!)  This one is my own personal gold standard classic.

MAC Lipglass took the lip gloss into a whole new level and will forever remain my favorite–it has a punch of bright color and is super long lasting.  Sure, it can be a bit sticky, but I can handle the trade off: perfectly glossy!

My first introduction to MAC Lipglass was at a Sex And The City party in New York City. I met this fabulous drag queen dressed like Samantha with the most glossy lips I’d ever seen! I asked him/her: “What lip gloss are you wearing? I have to have it!”  He replied: “It’s MAC Lipglass, honey!” And my obsession was born.

Lancôme Juicy Tube: I’m an immediate sucker for a lipgloss named ‘juicy’. (What a genius who came up with the name!  Sounds so succulent!)  This Juicy Tube does indeed live up to its promise: very glossy, wet, and delicious. It even smells juicy.

Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect is an ultra-shimmering version of Dior’s cult-favorite, Dior Addict lip gloss. When I bought Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect for the first time, I couldn’t stop taking it out in public and kept reapplying it to my lips over and over and over… It’s hyper glossy, the tube is incredibly chic, and, of course, it’s Dior–so I was showing it off! (Very shallow, I know). The only downfall: because I re-applied too many times, I ran out pretty fast!

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder: Terracotta has been setting the benchmark for natural-looking, long-wearing faux glows since 1984. Now that’s a classic!  It’s moisturizing and oil-absorbing powder gives you a natural looking tan.

Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder: This bronzer is silky and smooth and gives you a great tan without any orange. Nice and simple–and nobody will know it’s not from a vacation!

Givenchy Prismissime – Face & Eye Powder: What I like about this bronzer palette is that you can apply it all over your face–even your eyelids!  It has a mixture of bronze shades and pink shades which gives you a realistic bronzing effect.

MAC Russian Red: Rumor is that this red lipstick was specially designed for non other than Madonna during her late 80′s Blonde Ambition era. (Think: “Express yourself” and “Vogue” videos.)  MAC Red Russian was my first love. I remember getting tons of looks from both men and women admiring my very glamorous “Russian Red” lips (I was born in Russia, so pun intended!)  It’s a bluish red and smooth in texture. (PS – I tend to skip a lip liner when I wear a red lipstick. Red lipstick can stand on its own.)

MAC Ruby Woo: If you love MAC Russian Red you’ll adore Ruby Woo. It’s the go-to lipstick for an old-Hollywood Starlet look, because of its matte texture and finish.  Wear it, and be prepared to turn heads!

Chanel Rouge Hydrabase Creme Lipstick in Red N0. 5:  Long-lasting with a satiny finish and medium coverage. It’s formulated to be creamy and it won’t fade, smudge or feather. This is my Marilyn Monroe lipstick.
