The Fairest: American Idol State of Mind

Hello, beauties!

We’re in an American Idol state of mind, although we must confess that we find this year’s contestants a bit lackluster. Where’s our Kelly? No Carrie? Wherefore art thou Glambert?! After Alex Lambert was eliminated, we were a tiny bit crushed…but now we’re throwing our hopes behind Crystal Bowersox, who has that unique, awesome voice, plus is looking prettier and prettier every week. What say you?

Speaking of American Idol and prettiness, it seems the name on everybody’s lips is makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy (pronounced MISH-gone—you’re welcome), who is, of course, engaged to marry annoying/sexy he-devil Simon Cowell. We had a pleasure of working with Mezhgan on a photo shoot for Total Beauty last year, and not only is she supremely talented, super nice and ridiculously beautiful (some people are just blessed!), she’s also the creator of her own makeup line called Me by Mezhgan. Can we share something else really exciting?
